Science Centers
Science is based on monthly themes. Through the science lessons and centers, children are able to experiment, solve problems, make decisions, develop sensory skills, and learn math concepts. One of the many themes taught at DaySpring is ‘ALL ABOUT ME.” Children will become familiar concerning the different functions of the human body. Skills and strategies are developed. Children will experience God’s world through a creative, hands-on approach.
Computers
During computer instruction children are taught basic computer skills and learn different computer games, which reinforce concepts such as: following directions, exploring different menu’s, reinforcing letter and number recognition. The computer games offer multiple skill levels and options for customization.
